Louisiana State University is a very large powerhouse for college football. Just recently LSU took two of their 2020 top 100 recruits off of the roster. Antione Staph and Philip Webb were both taken off of the roster due to too many injuries. The school confirmed that there are no academic or behavioral options. Staph was rated the number 6th inside linebacker and the 97 overall players in the country when coming out of high school. Baker Mayfield was traded to the Carolina Panthers from the Browns for a higher-round pick in the 2024 draft. In the last four years on the Browns, Mayfield had 14,125 yards, 92 touchdowns, 56 interceptions, and an 87.8 rating. Robbie Anderson, wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers responded to the previous thoughts on the former Browns quarterback joining the team. Terry McLaurin WR1 for the Washington Commanders started his 4th and final year on a rookie contract. He was previously only earning 2.97 million dollars. McLaurin’s new contract is a three-year extension of 71 million dollars. His contract entailed a 28 million dollar signing bonus and 34.6 million dollars guaranteed. Early in the summer, we saw how McLaurin held out from mandatory camps and offseason workouts.
