    LSU Football Huddle

Louisiana State University is a very large powerhouse for college football. Just recently LSU took two of their 2020 top 100 recruits off of the roster. Antione Staph and Philip Webb were both taken off of the roster due to too many injuries.

The school confirmed that there are no academic or behavioral options. Staph was rated the number 6th inside linebacker and the 97 overall players in the country when coming out of high school. He played in only 6 games while at LSU four during the 2020 season and 2 during the 2021 season. Webb rated the number 4 pick for an outside linebacker and 57 overall for the class of 2020. Webb also made no appearances in the 2020 season and only 3 in the following season.

I think that if the players could heal, they would still be an asset to a team. Both players had an outstanding amount of offers. 25 offers for Staph and 44 offers for Webb. Hopefully, we get a chance to see what these players can still do on a field after recovery.
