Heading into week 3, the concerns about the Titans are real. The Tennessee Titans will begin the 2022 season at home against The New York Giants this Sunday, September 11th.  Accordingly, the Titans have named six team captains ahead of Sunday’s matchup.  The players making captaincy are: QB Ryan Tannehill (previously captain in 2020 and 2021), RB Derrick Henry (previously captain in 2020 and 2021), C Ben Jones (previously captain in 2019), S Kevin Byard (previously captain 2019, 2020 and 202), DL Jeffery Simmons (previously captain in 2021) & OLB and special teams ace Ola Adeniyi as a first-time captain.   Kickoff for Sunday’s game is set for 4:25 p.m. EST.

After a productive preseason, the Tennessee Titans have completed their finals moves in preparation for the start of the 2022 NFL regular season.  Today (8/30), all teams had a 4 p.m. deadline to pair their respective rosters down to 53 players. Week 1 of the Tennessee Titans preseason game resulted in a 23-10 loss. Preseason game wins and losses matter little. Coaches are more focused on evaluating positional talent and trying to build out a depth chart in three quick games. The Tennessee Titans  completed a trade today with the Las Vegas Raiders. They have acquired Safety Tyree Gillespie.  The Titans will send a conditional seventh-round pick in the 2024 NFL draft to the Raiders for Gillespie’s services.   Gillespie played college at Missouri and was drafted by the Raiders in the 4th round of the 2021 NFL draft. He played in 11 games for the Raiders in 2021 but never started. He did see time with the special teams unit, playing in 49% of the snaps. Tennessee Titans vs. Baltimore Ravens Preseason Overview Malik Willis Gets the 1st Half Reps The Tennessee Titans began the 2022 preseason schedule at the Baltimore Ravens.  For this game, I want to focus on a young player I’ve mentioned before. Malik Willis played every offensive snap in the first half for the Titans.  The Ravens, as they are known to do, brought a lot of defensive pressure on Willis throughout the first  half.
