All eyes are on the Packers WRs. An interesting mix of veterans and rookies come into camp looking to fill the void that Davante Adams left. Of the rookies, the headliner was second round pick Christian Watson. It was no secret the Packers liked him during the draft and they got their man. However, I think another Packer rookie will make a huge impact this season. I’m all in on Packers rookie Romeo Doubs. Romeo Doubs College Career Doubs comes out of Nevada and the last two years there he did something that not many receivers can say. He posted…

Team trips before the season starts are not uncommon for the Michigan Wolverines. The team has previously taken trips to Italy, France and South Africa. The purpose was bonding, getting to know teammates and building relationships within the team. One criticism that many had of these trips were they seemed like expensive vacations rather than team building experiences. This year, Harbaugh decided to take a different approach with the team going on a state wide tour. The first stop was Flint, Michigan. While there, the Michigan Wolverines decided to give back to the community in their trip to Flint. Michigan…

This is not what Packers fans wanted to hear. After some optimism that he would stay off the list, LT David Bakhtiari has been added to the PUP list. What Does This Mean? Starting training camp on the PUP list means that the Green Bay medical staff hasn’t cleared him for the first practice on Wednesday. Bakhtiari tore his ACL in a practice on December 31, 2020. Since then, he played 27 snaps in the regular season finale of last year but was shut down for the playoffs. The hope was that he would be ready to go by training…

Projecting stats for players is a hard business. This is especially amplified on players who have a small sample size of greatness or an anomaly season that is an outlier from the rest of their career. Is the small sample size an indication of things to come or a flash in the pan? Is the outlier season the player turning a corner or will they regress to the means? There are many players that fit this bill in the 2022 season but there are 3 that stick out to me. Be careful of drafting these 3 players in fantasy football…

Training camp is on the horizon! The big aspect of training camps that many fans watch is the roster battles. While most positions are simply trying to fill in back up roles, there are usually a couple of key roles that have an open competition. For the Packers, one of the spots up for grabs is the kicker. While that may not seem very exciting, for fans of the Packers it is. The kicker battle is one to watch at Packers training camp. Mason Crosby Crosby has been a staple on the Packers roster for almost 15 years. Largely he…

The Packers have no shortage of great players in the history of the NFL. One of the players that you do not hear people talk about as much is RB Ahman Green. However, looking back on his stats, he was one of the best running backs not just in Green Bay Packers history but in NFL history. His best season was clearly the 2003 season. Let’s take a look back on Ahman Green’s 2003 season. Stats on the Season In 2003, Green rushed for 1,883 yards on 355 attempts for a 5.3 yards per carry. On top of that, he…

In the NFL, every game is important. The length of the season dictates that each game is important for playoff position and even a shot at a postseason birth. The Green Bay Packers come into this season with Super Bowl aspirations and the schedule has some tough games in it but some are going to mean more than others. Here are the 3 pivotal games in the Packers 2022 schedule. One quick note. I am not including any division games. No matter the season, division games are always pivotal. Week 6 vs. Jets This one may seem a little weird…

There isn’t one right way to do a fantasy draft (though there definitely is a wrong way). A lot of articles have been written on this site about the need to draft a QB early this year in your fantasy leagues. I get where the writers are coming from and even agree with their points. Their way is one right way to draft. However, even after hearing their cases, I am not in that camp. Don’t draft a QB early in fantasy. Here’s why. A quick caveat before we begin, I am assuming your league only has 1 QB slot.…

Things are looking up for the Michigan Wolverines in July. After landing a couple of four-star recruits, they can add another name to the list: Enow Etta. After spending some more time to think over the decision, Etta finally gave a verbal commitment to Michigan, stating that Jim Harbaugh was a huge reason for signing. The Michigan Wolverines land their biggest commitment yet. Let’s meet him. Enow Etta’s profile The 6-foot-5, 260-pound edge rusher looks to continue Michigan’s dominance in developing the edge position. Despite his large frame, he is quick and explosive. He has the natural instincts to rush…

As the college football season approaches, teams are starting to analyze the schedules and look at what the key games will be. At this point, most analysts have a good idea of where each team will finish in their conference. And then there are the Nebraska Cornhuskers. When I did my Michigan season preview, I debated for awhile of whether to put the game against Nebraska as a key game. It is impossible to know what to do with the Cornhuskers. Nebraska is the Big Ten’s enigma. 2021 Season Nebraska’s 2021 season is truly baffling. They went 3-9 but easily…
