Before we get to the bad beat, let’s focus on the good. Tom Brady did it again last night. Down 16-3 at home to the New Orleans Saints with eight minutes left, Brady went to work. Leading Tampa on a ten play, 91 yard touchdown drive that lasted all of 2:21, the score was cut 16-10. After a Saints punt, Brady and the Buccaneers offense took the field with 2:29 left in the game. In typical Tom fashion, he methodically plotted down the field and finished it off by throwing the game tying touchdown pass to Rachaad White with three…

A rather lackluster Thursday Night Football game between the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers got week three of the NFL season started. In terms of the game, it was about as exciting as a Jacoby Brissett and Mitch Trubisky quarterback battle could be, just blah. The Browns won 29-17, and from the outside this game was relatively uneventful. The betting aspect and all that happened late in this game is where the fun starts. A great thing with betting is that even if the actual game feels determined, so much can still happen. Everyone loves a good bad beat, and…

With another beatdown in week 2 over the Titans, the Buffalo Bills comfortably move to 2-0 on the season. The game was well over in the third quarter, and the Bills looked every bit as dominant as their preseason hype has warranted. The defense continued to look fierce holding the Titans to 187 total yards of offense, while forcing four turnovers, and only giving up seven points. Another scoring explosion saw the Bills score 41 points. They have outscored opponents 72-17 in the first two weeks. The two main people to look at are of course Bills quarterback Josh Allen…

Where to even start with this game. The Raiders were up 20-0 at half and 23-7 entering the fourth quarter. With the spread being -5.5, Vegas looked in control all game to cover. A touchdown by Cardinals running back Darrel Williams, followed by a successful two-point conversion, cut the lead 23-15. With eight minutes left and now protecting a 2.5 (spread purposes) point lead, the Raiders had a chance to put it away. Instead, Vegas ran a grand total of five plays for 14 yards that took 3:15 off the clock. After a punt down to the Cardinals 27-yard-line with…

Flashback to week one: It’s three minutes into the fourth quarter, Younghoe Koo just hit a 27 yard field goal, the Falcons are at home with a 16 point lead. According to ESPN, the Falcons had a 95% win probability after the field goal. A Saints team that came into Mercedes Benz stadium as  5.5 point favorites, looked like they were going to leave Atlanta with an upsetting divisional loss. The tides ended up turning, and the Saints won 27-26 after blocking Younghoe Koo’s 63 yard field attempt. A gritty win by the Saints to improve to 1-0 and carry…

The Giants won week one riding their horse Saquon Barkley to the finish line. Rushing 18 times for 164 yards and a touchdown, Barkley looked like the stallion the Giants hoped for when they drafted him second overall in 2018. He also caught six passes for 30 yards, including a critical two-point conversion that gave the Giants a 21-20 lead with 1:06 left in the fourth quarter. Saquon looked fast, explosive, intense, and in good health. A promising sign for a Giants fanbase that is looking for any sense of positivity. https://twitter.com/PFF_Fantasy/status/1569107513261568001?s=20&t=5PK_3WdXVsi-r1t9lDTr3g First half: Saquon finished the first half with…

Let’s paint a picture: It’s a Saturday afternoon, almost all your bets have gone the other way, you’re tired but pushing through. A warrior some would call you. Doing the mental math in your head of who needs what and what needs to happen in order for this team to cover or this over to hit. It often times gets forgotten how sitting in the comfort of our own homes and betting on games can be more exhausting for us than the players on the field playing. Sure, Bryce Young led Alabama on a game winning drive to beat Texas,…

Opening night of the 2022-23 NFL season began with a banner ceremony as The Los Angeles Rams were honored for their Super Bowl win over the Cincinnati Bengals last season. The game that ensued was one the Rams would like to forget. After Josh Allen found Gabe Davis for an opening drive touchdown, the Rams quickly fell behind. A 57-yard field goal by the Rams All-Pro Matt Gay tied the game at 10 going into halftime. After scraping to a tied first half, the Rams wouldn’t put any more points on the board. The Bills would dominate the second half…
