Can I see them play a regular season game first? In this instance and for the sake of value, no.  Going into the NFL season, awards are always some of the most popular season long prop bets. Getting these bets at nice plus odds value, it gives bettors the opportunity to go in on multiple players. The returns on nailing just one pick should generate profit and make up the losses on the others. With the NFL offensive rookie of the year, circumstance and situation always factor into who wins, but history can also help us get a clearer picture…

Greg Schianos squad is starting off the 2022 college football season a winner! Down 21-15 with the ball on their own four yard line with 7:45 left in the fourth quarter, things were looking bleak for a Rutgers offense that had only managed 15 points in the first 52 minutes. A 12 play five minute drive capped off with a 22 yard touchdown run by sophomore running back Al-Shadee Salaam gave Rutgers the lead 22-21 with 2:43 left in the game. Salaam’s back to back runs of 23 and 22 yards led to the go-ahead score. After a defensive hold…

History would tell you otherwise. There has only been one defensive player to ever win the Heisman Trophy. Since that defensive player won in 1997 (more on him in a minute), it has been a collection of 19 quarterbacks, five running backs, and one wide receiver. An award that has been more catered to quarterbacks, 2021 Heisman winner Alabama’s Bryce Young (+400) or Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud (+200) would be the safest bets going into the season. If you want to go outside of the quarterback realm, here are some other names you’ll see on the Heisman odds: Texas running…

The annual NFL Top 100 list usually strikes debates and conversation. Naturally, with an opinion based list, there will be players that people feel are too highly or lowly rated. Everyone loves to get mad at rankings. When looking through the list, one name really caught my eye in the 40th spot. Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert was placed as the 40th best player in the NFL. An elite quarterback and one of the MVP favorites, this ranking should be way higher. I find it hard to believe there are 39 players better than Herbert: He’s better than Herbert?…

In a week two preseason game between the New York Giants and Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday Night August 21st, Bengals tight end Thaddeus Moss delivered a dirty and dangerous low hit to Giants fifth overall pick Kayvon Thibodeaux. The play here: https://twitter.com/EmmanuelAcho/status/1561511935840964608?s=20&t=zHBVfyWYI6dZs-InLVhdeQ I’m no football X’s & O’s expert, but that sure looked dirty to me. Leading with the helmet straight to the knee, Thibodeaux remained on the ground as Giants staff went out to help him. Thankfully, he was able to walk to the sidelines and waved off the cart. Thibodeaux was seen walking around on the sidelines and…
