Each season a projected strength of schedule is released based on last season. However, the rankings are based entirely on that – last season. This year, the defending champion Los Angeles Rams are projected to have the most difficult schedule. The opposing Rams win percentage totaled in at .567 last year. Granted that was last year. Things change frequently in the NFL. This offseason was a great reminder of that. A look at the Rams’ schedule shows that change. NFC West changes made the division weaker The NFC West looks vastly different. The Seahawks traded away Russell Wilson, signaling the…

Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Bobby Brown III is suspended for the first six games of the season. the NFL announced Brown’s suspension on Monday. Given the Rams have a Week 7 bye, the earliest Brown can touch the football field will be Week 8. Although, he can practice with the team. Brown enters his second season after the Rams drafted him in the fourth round of the 2021 draft.…

The Los Angeles Rams won the Super Bowl last year. However, all good things come at a cost. The cost for the Rams was the retirement of Andrew Whitworth, one of the most reliable offensive line players in league history. Whitworth, a 16-year veteran, provided the Rams with consistent protection over the last five seasons. Joe Noteboom will take over as the team’s left tackle. The 27-year-old will need to fill in some large shoes. However, Noteboom received compensation over the offseason, suggesting he is ready for that challenge. https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/1503399642482065411?s=20&t=GOekDNbDVfVXsY9fsDHRgQ Noteboom is not the only projected young starter on the…

The Seattle Seahawks have had discussions about trading for Jimmy Garoppolo, Jeremy Fowler said. This comes after the team missed out on the Baker Mayfield sweepstakes. https://twitter.com/JFowlerESPN/status/1546563706942853121?s=20&t=Mcb5sIYVrb7Lw2cGgoZDXw The Seahawks traded away franchise quarterback Russell Wilson earlier this offseason, signaling that there will be a rebuild in Seattle. However, a trade for the former Super Bowl starter would suggest otherwise. Garoppolo’s contract is up at the end of the season, meaning he would be a rental unless he is re-signed by whichever team trades for him. Garoppolo is unlikely to be traded, but let’s entertain the possibility of it. Why would…

Richie Incognito announced his retirement from the NFL. He had stints with four different franchises, including the Rams. https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/1548022585329213443?s=20&t=HnT7zOm4py-z-fwLDBAWXQ He was on the Saint Louis Rams from 2006-2009 before his late 2009 release. During his time with the Rams, he started in every game he appeared. He played in 44 total games with the team. However, his temper proved too much for the team to contain. The Rams released Incognito in Dec. 2009. The Buffalo Bills claimed him from waivers. He played the remainder of the season in Buffalo before his contract ran out. The Bills were unable to retain…

The Chicago Bears are a selling team. They are in the midst of a rebuild, so trading the most valuable elder players on the team is good for business for them. One player who has remained on the team is Robert Quinn.  Bleacher Report released a list of the five players the outlet believes will be traded. Robert Quinn, who missed the Bears’ mandatory minicamp, appeared on the list.  The trade consists of Robert Quinn going to the Rams for 2nd and 3rd round picks in 2023, Alex Kay of Bleacher Report wrote. The proposed move is true to the “f***…

With the 164th pick in the NFL Draft, The Los Angeles Rams selected running back Kyren Williams. In a vacuum, Williams is a fantastic grab for the team. He can do anything out of the backfield based on his college numbers. However, where will the Notre Dame product fit in on offense? That is a question the Rams need to ask. Why is this a question for the team? Well, the Rams have Darrell Henderson under contract for the upcoming season. Additionally, Cam Akers seems healthy based on the team saying he is a breakout candidate. Whether or not Akers can remain…

Not many can claim to have 100 sacks throughout the NFL’s history. Only 39 players can say they reached the century mark in sacks. That number is about to increase unless something goes wrong. Aaron Donald is two sacks away from reaching that benchmark. The question is when will he hit 100? Donald has 98 sacks in his career, so it shouldn’t take too long to reach the century mark. The schedule provides a glimpse at when he might get there. https://twitter.com/SNFonNBC/status/1542937529321771008?s=20&t=NLP6vKyOOZgBDwhO1HsMaA Week 1, Buffalo Bills The Bills have a stellar young quarterback who is hard to bring down. The Los Angeles Rams hired coach Sean McVay in 2017. He has been a hit for the organization ever since. Not only that, but his assistant coaches get hired at a high rate. Zac Taylor was in the Super Bowl last year. Matt LaFleur appeared in the NFC title game in 2020. Brandon Staley is in his second year with the Chargers and is poised to be a threat in the AFC. And Kevin O’Connell went to the Vikings this offseason. Assistants of McVay seem primed to have head coaching careers. The Dolphins found their man The Miami Dolphins interviewed…
