The Los Angeles Rams have a great receiving group. Cooper Kupp is on the team, and he is someone that some consider to be a top-3 receiver in the NFL. The Rams also brought in Allen Robinson to mitigate the loss of Odell Beckham Jr. It is unknown if Beckham will return, but it will be later in the season if he does. Additionally, Van Jefferson has improved with each season he has been in the league. Jefferson comes in as the third receiver on the squad. Pro Football Focus agrees that the Rams have a top receiving group too. https://twitter.com/PFF/status/1544395747298353155?s=20&t=ilIq6O7pwsxLrLSMEkyZEg However,…

The Los Angeles Rams’ rushing attack was lackluster last season. In fairness, that is underselling it. Without Cam Akers for much of last season, the run game was putrid. The Rams finished the year with a bottom quarter earning in rushing yards. Sony Michel was the top rusher for the team last season, but he left in free agency.  However, Akers returned late last season from his torn Achilles sustained at camp. He is a breakout player for the team. With an offseason to recover from the injury, after miraculously returning at the end of the season, he sounded as if…

Matthew Stafford was known as someone who can put up touchdowns with the best of them but can’t win when it counts. Stafford finally has a Super Bowl to his name, so where is that argument now? Stafford, once known as “stat padford”, is projected to be among the league leaders in touchdown tosses again. According to Pro Football Focus Fantasy, predicted he has 36 of them. If the projection comes true, Stafford would have the second-most in the NFL. He would be behind only Tom Brady, projected to have 38 touchdown passes. https://twitter.com/PFF_Fantasy/status/1541079335917891586?s=20&t=30MwDo_B5FfYSylScpKk2Q Stafford will throw fewer touchdowns than…

The Pro Bowl is the NFL’s version of the All-Star game. The league’s best players get to celebrate themselves for accomplishing a phenomenal season. Leonard Floyd  of the Los Angeles Rams could play himself into the game, Nick Shook of nfl.com said. “There’s no better time than the present for Floyd to finally add a Pro Bowl to his résumé,” Shook said. “When considering he played through injury in 2021 and still flirted with 10 sacks, it’s reasonable to think his age-30 season might see him earn a career high if he’s fully healthy.” It is not just Shook saying…

Summer is the season for offseason NFL breakout projections. Pro Football Focus recently predicted Joe Noteboom to breakout for the Los Angeles Rams. However, the team projected running back Cam Akers to do the same. Akers is coming out of a mum 2021 campaign due to his torn Achilles sustained in camp last year. However, it was inspiring to see him come back and help the Rams win a Super Bowl. In the regular season, Akers played in the season finale and ran five times for three yards. Akers would see more involvement in the playoff, though. He went for 393 yards in four games…

The Los Angeles Rams have been busy this offseason handing out contract extensions to key players on the team. Joe Noteboom was no exception to this wave of re-signings, as he got one to the tune of three years worth $40 million. The difference between him and Aaron Donald, for example, is that Noteboom has not had much playing time in comparison. Noteboom has played four seasons but played in only 1,260 offensive snaps. He played 90% and 91% of the snaps in 2019 and 2020 respectively, so he isn’t that new to the league. The Rams also have a huge hole…

Many people have a regret in life. As a football coach, not running the ball near the goal line with Marshawn Lynch, for example, seems regretful. Another coach in the NFC West has a different regret in his career: not being the best communicator that he could have been. https://twitter.com/ProFootballTalk/status/1542565439963815939?s=20&t=ggTmS04xbQvpha1dy86ldQ That is how Los Angeles Rams Head Coach Sean McVay feels about his handling of the Matthew Stafford trade. In that agreement, Jared Goff, then Rams quarterback, was dealt to the Detroit Lions (along with picks) for Stafford. Sean McVay Has Regret Over How He Handled Jared Goff McVay appeared…

The Los Angeles Rams have spent a pretty penny on contract extensions for the organization’s cornerstone players this offseason.  Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp and Aaron Donald all got extended by the team after playing major roles in winning the Super Bowl. These are the core players of the franchise, so it is wise that Les Snead re-signed each of these players. However, there is one more player who should receive an extension offer as we prepare for training camp. That player is Darrell Henderson.  Henderson is a free agent after the 2022 season concludes. While he is technically the backup…

The Los Angeles Rams have a habit of not having a first-round pick in the draft. The team has not picked on day one since the first overall pick in 2016. The Rams picked Jared Goff with that spot. While Goff wasn’t horrible, he was not what the team needed to get over the hump and win a championship. Since the 2016 draft, General Manager Les Snead has seemingly adopted a new philosophy for first-round picks. Of course, this philosophy is ‘f*** them picks.’ https://twitter.com/TheAthletic/status/1494027583184424969?s=20&t=2QdXG577Yeibmsg4ykkdKw Since Goff, Rams faithful have not seen any picks made by the team in the…

Training camp is an excellent time for fans to get a first glimpse of what their team will look like for the upcoming season. Camp often provides fanbases with a ray of hope that their team will be among the elite in the league. Sometimes, fans have Super Bowl aspirations for the season based on what they see in training camp. The Rams could have started this process on July 18, much as the Buffalo Bills did. However, the team opted to give its players some more rest following the long season and playoff run. https://twitter.com/RamsNFL/status/1542176122770665472?s=20&t=lBl0gtBQlig67jbPbhIAtQ Coaches will report to…
