He was on the Saint Louis Rams from 2006-2009 before his late 2009 release. During his time with the Rams, he started in every game he appeared. He played in 44 total games with the team. However, his temper proved too much for the team to contain.
The Rams released Incognito in Dec. 2009. The Buffalo Bills claimed him from waivers. He played the remainder of the season in Buffalo before his contract ran out.
The Bills were unable to retain the offensive guard in free agency and he went down to Miami for a stint with the Dolphins. His time in Miami started his prime years. He played for the Dolphins from 2010-2013 and received his first Pro Bowl selection in 2012.
However, controversy stirred in the final year of his time in Miami. The offensive guard, and other teammates, were accused of harassing Jonathan Martin. The harassment included racial and homophobic slurs and physical touching toward Martin, who left the Dolphins.
Incognito was suspended by the team shortly after Martin left Miami. The veteran never played a snap for the Dolphins again. He took time away from football shortly afterward.
The second act of Richie Incognito
Incognito went back to Buffalo after his hiatus and played perfectly for the squad. The veteran started each game in his second stay with the Bills.
He was selected to three straight Pro Bowls in his time with the team. The team made the playoffs for the first time in 18 years under his superb blocking in 2017. After the season, Incognito hung up the cleats.
After another year off the gridiron, he came back one more time. In 2019, the former Pro Bowler signed with the Raiders and started 12 games for the franchise.
Incognito, who last played in 2020, retired as a Las Vegas Raider. Although he retired before, this one seems official for the 39-year-old.
