The Miami Hurricanes have a new quarterback this season and reports are very positive about the former Washington State quarterback Cam Ward. Last season, Ward had 3,735 passing yards, 25 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. Ward transferred to Miami for this year’s upcoming NCAA football season. He is the third highest-ranked transfer behind Ohio State and Michigan State’s transfer quarterbacks. ESPN’s SportCenter news anchor Hannah Storm was recently diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2024.  Storm was shocked at the news when she was given the diagnosis. Storm was diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS). DCIS is a “stage zero” form of breast cancer because it is curable before it spreads throughout the body.  Hannah had always gone to her yearly annual mammogram appointments. According to Storm, she had no symptoms of breast cancer. No risk factors, no lumps, and no family history of breast cancer. The Kansas City Chiefs have signed Marquise “Hollywood” Brown to a 1-year $11 million contract. Brown was the 25th pick in the NFL Draft in 2019. He has played for the Arizona Cardinals and the Baltimore Ravens. Brown has 313 catches, 3,644 receiving yards and 28 touchdowns in his overall career. The Miami Dolphins have agreed to terms with former Cleveland Brown Linebacker Anthony Walker for a one year deal. Anthony Walker has played in 85 NFL games. He has 513 tackles, 3 interceptions and 2 forced fumbles. Last season, Walker started 12 games before suffering his knee injury in December of 2023.
