Florida State has been approved to begin the long process of potentially leaving the ACC. On Friday morning, Florida State’s Board of Trustees met to discuss the school’s decision to take legal action against the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The school’s board unanimous approved the proposal, meaning the school can begin the process of taking legal action against their conference, which likely will begin the process of the Seminoles leaving their longtime home. A familiar face is returning to Notre Dame. According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Notre Dame is hiring LSU Offensive Coordinator Mike Denbrock to the same position. Denbrock is set to return to South Bend following a two-year stint with the Tigers after he left the Fighting Irish to join Brian Kelly in Baton Rouge. Tony Pollard will NOT return to the Cowboys-49ers clash. Late in the first-half of Sunday’s NFL divisional round game between the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers, Cowboys tailback Tony Pollard exited the game with an apparent left leg injury.
