Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship that began around the start of the 2023 NFL football season has captivated the nation and even the world.
Last week, videos showed Kelce arriving in Australia to watch his girlfriend perform and thousands of Australians — who likely didn’t follow the NFL or know who the Kansas City Chiefs star was a year ago — were seen losing their minds when he was escorted into the venue.

Swift, 34, celebrated her boyfriend’s arrival by changing the lyrics to “Karma” again during her performance at Accor Stadium in Sydney on Friday.
The NFL star, 34, attended the show with his friend Ross Travis, who stood beside him as Swift sang, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me,” in a video shared on X, formerly Twitter.
After Taylor Swift sang the new lyrics, the crowd let out a loud cheer, and Travis Kelce began dancing with his hands in the air.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end made the best of his experience by handing out guitar picks to fans and wearing an assortment of friendship bracelets. He made sure to look his best by sporting a noticeably shorter beard and a bright blue outfit from the Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama collaboration.
Swift and Kelce’s reunion in Sydney marked the first time the two spent time together since the 2024 Super Bowl, during which the Chiefs beat the 49ers in overtime 25 – 22. A day before the concert, the couple spent time at Sydney Zoo.
It is the first time Kelce was spotted at an Eras Tour show since flying to Argentina to watch Swift perform at Buenos Aires’ Estadio River.
The Buenos Aires show also marked the first time Kelce met Swift’s dad, Scott, and the first time Swift performed the lyric change.
Travis Kelce later reacted to the new lyrics on the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast, revealing that he had a “clue” about it happening.
“I might have had a little bit of a clue, but definitely when I heard it come out of her mouth, [it] still shocked me,” he said.
Being that the first Eras Tour show that Kelce attended was in July 2023 — before the start of their relationship — he told his brother that the concert “was even more electric.”

The Kelce/Swift relationship has been the perfect American love story so far — with so many fans of both the pop music star and NFL player— assuming they will get married sooner rather than later.
So far, it’s all been peaches and roses, which is rare for a high-profile couple of their status.
While some of this could be speculation, a new report states there may be a slight point of contention between the power couple about the rules Taylor Swift wants Travis Kelce to obide by while dating her.
“Pals are saying now that Taylor and Travis are more than six months into their relationship, she feels comfortable setting certain rules for him to follow,” Life & Style reported, citing a source. “Fortunately, Travis is on board — with most of them, anyway.”
“Fans aren’t the only ones who took notice. While Travis’ girlfriend, Taylor Swift, enjoyed hours of drinking alongside him as they partied at multiple nightclubs after the big game in Las Vegas on February 11, friends believe that his parade antics ventured into cringe territory. “He should have reined it in a little bit,” explains a source, who exclusively tells Life & Style Trav’s boozed-up behavior isn’t all the pop star is looking to change.”
That one seems a bit intense as the dude just won a Super Bowl. It’s not like he’s out raging on a regular basis like his brother.
The next reported rule makes more sense, but apparently Travis Kelce isn’t thrilled about it.
Life & Style’s source also claims the singer does not want her boyfriend taking photos with female fans to avoid potentially negative press, something he is said to have rolled his eyes at.
For example, Travis — who’s talked about past visits to adult-entertainment venues on his “New Heights” podcast and wore a Crazy Horse 3 Las Vegas shirt to a November football game — “is fine not going to strip clubs anymore (that’s one of her hard rules), but Taylor also doesn’t want him posing for photographs with female fans, mostly to avoid inaccurate headlines. He had to roll his eyes at that one.”
Taylor Swift clearly isn’t a fan of strip clubs or her man taking pictures with literally any female on earth, but she’s running the show and it’s a safe bet Travis Kelce will comply.

Ill have to say Taylor Swift is not my favorite person,but I do like the best to some of her tunes. She seems to be very controling and a narcissist. I wouldnt through to many rules on that handsome young man,your not the only peach in the basket honey. He can get anyone he wants..✌️

Rules and regulations will be accepted and expected 😉 once married…he’s young and their relationship new.
So if there’s ever a chance for him wanting to be himself she won’t let him before marriage or after!

T Kelce was COMPLETELY wasted at the super bowl parade, it’s not like he was in the backyard of his best friend – that was National TV. If that guy was dating my daughter I would be extremely concerned. If he can’t celebrate responsibly and act like a respectable young man, it’s a sign of issues Taylor doesn’t need to put up with.
I think that if you love and respect your new partner you should have no problem with their guidelines , I think Taylor means if he’s seen with other women and photographs that people are going to make up stories about infidelity and him cheating on her and she just doesn’t want that to be a problem that she has to even worry about.
