In a shocking story, both Travis Kelce’s and Patrick Mahomes’ houses were burglarized. The FBI is now investigating the burglary where people broke into Kelce’s $6 million home just hours before the Kansas City Chiefs played their Monday Night Football game.
Now, Taylor Swift and Kelce are beefing up their security at the house to make sure that nothing like this ever happens again. This is definitely quite scary and the details highlight the reasons behind adding major security.
Travis Kelce Beefing Up Security At His Home After $20K Stolen

Per Chris Rosvoglou of The Spun:
According to TMZ, $20,000 in cash was stolen from Kelce’s house. A report from The U.S. Sun, meanwhile, claims that his first Super Bowl jersey and an expensive amount of jewelry were also swiped from his mansion. That has not yet been confirmed at this time.
Once Kelce found out about the burglary, he booked a hotel room for him and Taylor Swift on Oct. 7. They didn’t want to take any chances, especially since they didn’t have any answers regarding what exactly happened.

Now that a month has passed since the scry situation, Kelce is not going to leave his home but instead, he will be adding some major security measures. He is not going to sell his house but he is going to make some major improvements to his home security to make sure this never happens again:
“This was a calculated break-in and Taylor and Travis are not taking any chances,” an insider told Daily Mail. “The intruders knew exactly when the house would be empty and could easily see that she was at the game he was playing in. They knew how long they had to carry out the robbery based on when the game ended. After the game they stayed at a hotel and since then they have taken drastic measures including a more advanced in-home security system and reinforced locks, etc.”
The teams’ quarterback Mahomes, also came to a similar decision as his All-Pro Tight End and will also be beefing up his home security.
Our sources with direct knowledge of the situation tell us in the days after Mahomes’ Belton mansion was broken into on Oct. 6 … the Chiefs star heightened safety measures around his home.
In addition, we’re told the gated community that Mahomes lives in also made some security moves … in an effort to put its members’ minds at ease.
It’s pretty crazy that both of these superstar athletes had their homes burglarized, and that they did not have some intense security before this happened. That can be a super scary ordeal knowing that there are intruders that got into your house and stole.
Hopefully, this added security will make sure that nothing like this ever happens again. We should get all the details from this soon as the FBI is now on the investigation.
