On Saturday night, Antonio Brown made a bold claim about where he isn’t amid a serious legal matter involving the former NFL wide receiver. In May, Brown was involved in an incident at an amateur boxing match in Miami.

Per multiple reports, Brown was accused of allegedly grabbing a handgun from nearby security personnel and firing two shots at a person he had been involved in a physical altercation with earlier in the evening. Per an arrest Warrant, Brown faces a second-degree attempted murder charge.

The warrant has not been executed yet, and Brown made a curious post on X regarding his status.

“I’m out the country ain’t no more Child Support tell your mama get a job,” Brown posted on X.

Brown is known for posting a lot of questionable material on X, from insults to jokes to those of a serious nature. It’s unclear if Brown actually left the United States amid having a warrant out for his arrest.

However, Brown’s message could be serious, and he could be letting authorities in the US and his relations in the country know that he plans to keep away from the country for quite some time.

The warrant is of a serious nature, and he faces a maximum of 15 years in prison.

Via a post on X in May, Brown denied any wrongdoing, claiming he was jumped by multiple people who wanted to steal from him. He wanted to press charges on those individuals.

“Regarding the boxing event that happened last night,” Brown posted on X. “I was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me. Contrary to some video circulating, Police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me. I WENT HOME THAT NIGHT AND WAS NOT ARRESTED.

“I will be talking to my legal council and attorneys on pressing charges on the individuals that jumped me. I will keep you all posted step-by-step on the process. Thank you for the support and love.”

Brown, 36, was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the sixth round of the 2010 draft. He played with the Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He earned a ring for Super Bowl LV and  was nominated to seven Pro Bowls and earned All-Pro honors five times.
