Travis Kelce Response
The Chiefs tight end seemed to take the comments light-heartedly saying, “I thought it was pretty good. With the stache, I look like a guy named Mr. Pfizer. Who knew I’d get into vax wars with Aaron Rodgers, man? Mr. Pfizer versus the Johnson & Johnson family over there.”
The Johnson & Johnson comment comes from the Jets owner Woody Johnson being an heir to the pharmaceutical company family’s fortune. As most of you know, Aaron Rodgers has famously been skeptical of the vaccine for COVID-19, which makes these comments even funnier.
Taylor Swift Situation
Kelce also goes on to talk about the Taylor Swift situation saying, “You’ve got a lot of people that care about Taylor, for good reason.” He even admitted that the NFL has been “overdoing” the television shots of Swift cheering on the Chiefs from the suite. It is no secret that the NFL world has been fed up with all the Taylor Swift promotion which led to the NFL releasing a statement defending themselves for promoting the pop star so much.
Overall, the situation between Rodgers and Kelce looks to be some light-hearted fun between two veterans of the game. Of course, some people will take things the wrong way, but is entertaining for everyone to say the least.
