Life is good if your name’s Tom Brady. Not only are you considered by many to be a fantastic football player, but you are considered to be the greatest of all time.
Your seven Super Bowl rings prove that your ability to throw the football is not something that can easily be replicated.
However, one onus of being such a public figure is the number of people who are interested in your life and will love to lap up any updates that are about you. This includes your messy divorce from your wife.
Tom Brady’s divorce from Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen was a major talking point when it broke, and it colored much of Brady’s final NFL season. Things have settled down a bit now that he’s spent time away from the game.
However, new details have emerged regarding the divorce of this former NFL power couple that may make fans think twice about what really happened behind closed doors.
Tom Brady wants to be amicable with Gisele Bundchen’s man, knew about their relationship long ago
Tamantha Ryan of Page Six wrote an interesting piece about Brady and Bundchen’s divorce and how the relationship between the model and her trainer has been going on for longer than what one might expect:
Though an insider told People that Bündchen and Valente did not begin dating until June 2023 — eight months after Brady and the mom of two finalized their divorce — the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback reportedly isn’t buying her timeline.
“If she wants to have people think she has been dating Joaquim only since June, so be it, but they have been together longer and they aren’t taking it slow. Tom has accepted it,” the source told Daily Mail.
The insider also told the outlet that Brady, 46, has no issues with Valente and will try to keep things amicable for the sake of his children.
It’s an interesting thing to hear that Tom Brady probably knew about his ex-wife’s relationship even before the divorce was finalized. If these allegations are true, then it made sense that Brady reneged on his retirement to play one more season of football.
In fact, Brady played pretty well during his final year in the NFL, passing for 4694 yards and 25 touchdowns at age 45. His longevity has solidified his claim to be one of the game’s greatest QBs, and it will take a while for anyone to even come close to his title.
These revelations only showed that Brady is human like the rest of us. The best thing for Brady to do at this point is just focus on his broadcasting career and find his own happiness that way.
