The Texas A&M football program is currently going through it, with a bevy of high-end talent entering the transfer portal this week. Per On3 Sports, the Aggies have had four players enter the transfer portal since Tuesday. Texas A&M has lost nearly a dozen players to the portal since mid-November, including quarterback Max Johnson and tight end Jake Johnson. However, with the Aggies losing a multitude of talent on Wednesday, the internet has, like it always does, taken to social media to react to the flurry of news.

New HC Mike Elko Needing to Replace Talent in 2023
Including quarterback Max Johnson, the Texas A&M football program has lost a tight end, safety, receiver, defensive lineman, and three offensive linemen to the transfer portal. Johnson played eight games for the Aggies this season, throwing for 1,452 yards and nine scores against five picks. Texas A&M also lost receiver Raymond Cottrell to the portal in November. Cottrell joined the Aggies as a four-star prospect this season.
However, the offensive line is the group to take the biggest hit from recent departures. Chase Bisontis, Jordan Spasojevic-Moko, and Remington Strickland are in the transfer portal. Bisontis started all 12 regular season games at offensive tackle, while Spasojevic-Moko played in five games in 2022. Meanwhile, Strickland played in seven games this season. Texas A&M fired longtime head coach Jimbo Fisher on November 12 while hiring his replacement, Mike Elko, on November 27.
