Tennessee Titans Trade Rumors
Organizations with aggressive general Managers like the Philadelphia Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers have been working on the phones non-stop to see if there are any valuable players that they can add to their teams. On the other side, you have teams like the Denver Broncos and the Tennessee Titans listening to all of these calls to see what offers they can get for all of their players.
In the case of the Titans, they have publicly stated that they will be listening to all offers on every single player they possess. They recently traded their safety Kevin Byard to the Eagles last week. Their two star players Henry and Hopkins have been one of the main focal points of the trade deadline and have been in many mock scenarios. However, it looks like they will both be staying with the team as they have not had an offer the team thinks is fair.
Star Player Struggles
For Hopkins, he has been very quiet this season, only amounting to 376 receiving yards without any touchdowns. A big factor for the struggles receiving is the poor quarterback play, which is caused by the offensive line not being able to protect. The Titans have allowed the fourth most sacks in the league this year and have been a huge reason for the offensive struggles.
As for Derrick Henry, he has gone for 425 rushing yards and three touchdowns so far this season. He has not exactly played to the expectations he had coming into this year but has been dealing with the horrific offensive line as well. At the end of the day, it looks like both players will remain with the team unless the Titans get a great offer.
