During a wild morning for New York Jets fans, star corner back Sauce Gardner dropped an interesting tweet before quickly deleting it.
Gardner, who has been infamous for taking his opinions to Social Media, stated that the New York Jets offensive game-plan was leaked to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Jets went on to defeat the Eagles this past season, 20-14, as quarterback Jalen Hurts threw three interceptions to the New York defense. Gardner deleted the tweet within minutes of posting it, but provoked plenty of discussion online regarding whether or not it truly mattered for the Jets.
New York Jets Corner Back Sauce Gardner Reveals Philadelphia Eagles Acquired the Offensive Game-plan Ahead of Match-up
In a short sequence of events, the New York Jets X space (Formerly known as Twitter) was set ablaze as former first round pick Zach Wilson was granted a trade and corner back Sauce Gardner revealed interesting news. Before quickly deleting his tweet, Gardner revealed that the Philadelphia Eagles acquired the Jets offensive game-plan ahead of their match-up this past season. However, Gardner did not reveal how it happened or if it was really true, which sent Jets fans into a tailspin.

Whether the Eagles actually received the game-plan is a mute point however, as the Jets beat the Eagles 20-14 and Hurts had one of his worst games all season. Wilson finished the game with a quarterback rating of 73.5, which was one of his highest of the season.
Sauce Gardner: ‘We Ain’t Gonna Talk About How our Offensive Gameplan got Leaked Vs. the Eagles’
In just one sentence, capped off by a sad face emoji, Gardner sent the Jets fans into quite a whirlwind of emotions regarding his statement. Some fans wonder how the Eagles could have acquired the Jets game-plan, whether it be a free agent who spoke with the team after being cut, or if it was someone inside of the Jets’ staff. Other fans were quick to joke about the situation and question whether or not the New York Jets actually had offensive game-plans this past season.
New York Jets Football Continues to Find Themselves on the Wrong Side of Social Media
This past season for the Jets was not just defined by Zach Wilson’s play, Aaron Rodgers going down on the fifth play of the year, or if Robert Saleh should be fired. A large part of this past season for the New York Jets included a fair amount of their players engaging in interesting behavior on Social Media, most notably Sauce Gardner. Gardner recently got himself into an online ‘beef’ with Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins after the tackle questioned the Jets’ focus on football.
Most notably, Gardner called out former NFL corner back Asante Samuel, who suggested the New York media has had a large effect on the awards and nominations Gardner has received. Hopefully for the Jets sake heading into this upcoming season, the team and players can avoid getting into online altercations.
