The New York Giants poached an offensive lineman from the Dallas Cowboys following a frustrating injury during practice this week that put a key depth player on injured reserve.
The Giants have had several setbacks with injuries on offense this season. The Giants finally saw Saquon Barkley return in their Week 6 loss to the Buffalo Bills. However, the Giants were without Daniel Jones due to a neck injury. And Jones’ status in Week 7 is unclear.
The New York Giants poach an OL
According to Ian Rapoport with the NFL Network, the Giants placed another offensive lineman, Shane Lemieux, on injured reserve after sustaining a biceps injury in practice Wednesday. The Cowboys poached Sean Harlow from the Cowboys practice squad to take Lemieux’s spot.

Lemieux has played in two games for the Giants this season and started in one, as the Giants have dealt with injuries on the offensive line in the early season.
Harlow is a veteran interior offensive lineman. The Atlanta Falcons drafted him in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Harlow spent part of training camp with the Giants before they released him in August. Harlow then signed with the Cowboys practice squad.
