The Buffalo Bills have looked pedestrian throughout the season and coach Sean McDermott cost his team a win against the Denver Broncos. Broncos kicker Will Lutz missed a game-winning field goal but the Bills had 12 men on the field and the re-kick gave the Broncos the win.
Sean McDermott has struggled throughout the season to have the Buffalo Bills in positions to win games as they have the talent to be a lot better than 5-5 on the season. Fans and media members alike are discussing his mistakes on a weekly basis and the list is beginning to pile up.
Sean McDermott meddled so much on the offensive side of the ball it's become an unrecognizable disaster
then he got Leslie Frazier to walk
now he's calling all out blitzes on 3rd down when Denver isn't close to FG range…
…and leaving 12 men on the field to lose the game

Sean McDermott should at the very least be put on the hot seat as he is in his seventh season as the head coach for the Buffalo Bills and has a 4-5 record in the playoffs and has struggled to get things going. He has struggled with challenges as he has won seven of 29 challenges since 2017 when he took over.
The most egregious thing is the fact he has had a talented quarterback in Josh Allen, a strong defense and a playmaking wide receiver in Stefon Diggs for a large chunk of his tenure. Do not be surprised if general manager Brandon Beane decides to pull the plug on Sean McDermott soon.
Is Sean McDermott the biggest problem for the Buffalo Bills?
In a nutshell, yes he is. He is the top person in the organization in terms of the on-the-field situations and it feels like this team has taken a step backwards. Losing Leslie Frazier before the season hurt and he is consistently getting outcoached.
This Buffalo Bills team, which many people had as locks for the playoffs, are now 10th in the AFC with a 5-5 record and have a brutal stretch of games coming up. They host the New York Jets next week (lost to them in Week 1), then are on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, host the Dallas Cowboys, on the road against the Los Angeles Chargers, host the New England Patriots and finish up on the road against the Miami Dolphins.
The Bills don’t have many wins on their schedule left and are 1-2 in their division with losses to the Jets and Patriots. Even with the massive amount of injuries on the defensive side of the ball, this team should be winning games. If they miss the playoffs, Sean McDermott will be fired, if not sooner.
