Tom Brady’s future is very much up in the air right now. Some believe he will come back for another season, but will do so with another team, while others think he still could run it back one more time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Well, the Las Vegas Raiders seem to believe that they would have a very legitimate shot at signing the superstar quarterback in free agency if he does opt to play another year.
Heading into the offseason, the Raiders have made it clear that they are moving on from Derek Carr. Just one year after acquiring Davante Adams with Carr being a big part of the reason the superstar wideout wanted to move to Las Vegas, the franchise is heading in a different direction.
If they were able to move on from Carr and replace him with Brady, it would be a massive win. The Raiders were supposed to be a dark-horse Super Bowl contender this season, but ended up missing the playoffs and getting the No. 7 overall pick.
According to a report from Jeremy Fowler, as shared by Dov Kleiman, the Raiders are one of three teams that Brady would consider if he leaves the Buccaneers. He does mention that the Buccaneers are not out of the running either.

How Good Would The Raiders Be With Tom Brady?
If the Raiders were able to bring in Brady, they would instantly leap up to the top of many Super Bowl contender rankings. Can you imagine an offense with Brady, Adams, Josh Jacobs (assuming he re-signs), Darren Waller, Hunter Renfrow, and more? Las Vegas would be one of the most entertaining teams to watch in the entire NFL.
Add in the fact that they have put together a solid defense full of playmakers, and the possibilities are endless.
Brady is coming off of another big season with the Buccaneers, even at the age of 45. He completed 66.8 percent of his pass attempts for 4,694 yards, 25 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. Age is beginning to catch up to him, but Brady could easily play at a high level for another three or four seasons at this rate.

How good would the Raiders be? Their ceiling would be a Super Bowl. Obviously, the rest of the players around Brady would have to step up and play to their full potential.
Josh McDaniels also has a good history with Brady during their time together with the New England Patriots. Learning the system would not be difficult at all for the veteran superstar. This seems like a match made in heaven for both sides.
Expect to continue hearing a ton of rumors about Brady as the offseason approaches. At this point in time, the Raiders certainly appear to be a legitimate threat to sign him if he chooses to keep playing.
