The Pittsburgh Steelers came up short in today’s wild card game against the Buffalo Bills. Falling 31-17 after a travel ban postponed this game by more than 24 hours, the Steelers now look to move forward. With that said, there are question marks surrounding this team. Now, one more question gets added to this after Steelers RB Najee Harris made this shocking comment.
Najee Harris Questions Steelers’ Commitment and Discipline
In a postgame interview with 93.7 The Fan, Harris let a couple of things off of his chest. Harris made two shocking comments about the team that questioned their commitment and discipline. Here is what he had to say:
“We gotta be more disciplined… we gotta be more committed.” -Najee Harris
Harris immediately attempted to backtrack on the commitment part of this statement. However, he did suggest that the team needed help in these areas without throwing any particular player or coach under the bus. Still, the fact that Harris even put this out there after the loss could suggest there is a problem that needs to be addressed.

Pittsburgh Steelers Making Headlines
To bring up discipline, two notable events took place today alone. The first was by Steelers WR George Pickens. He was seen having a meltdown on the sidelines after a controversial non-call by the referees during the wild card game against the Bills.

Then, you have head coach Mike Tomlin. After the loss, he was asked during the postgame press conference about his future with the Steelers. In response, Tomlin walked out of the press conference. Perhaps these two events are just two examples of the problem Harris is trying to hint that the Steelers have. Now, Pittsburgh will have plenty of time to think about where they will go from here.
