The Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills are going head-to-head tonight in a highly anticipated wild-card matchup. Buffalo went into this game as heavy favorites to advance to the divisional round, and after the first quarter, it looks like the Bills are going to dominate. Steelers fans are not happy with their team’s performance in the opening quarter and are placing the blame on head coach Mike Tomlin for their struggles, and are now calling for him to be fired.

Pittsburgh Steelers Fans Want Mike Tomlin Fired
Fans in Pittsburgh have been calling for Tomlin to be fired throughout the season for not building a solid offense for their at-the-moment franchise quarterback Kenny Pickett, who is missed significant time with an injury. Fans are saying that Tomlin should have built a strong offensive line around the young quarterback and that the team would be much better if someone else was the coach.
Many NFL fans believe that Tomlin is not the problem in Pittsburgh, as he has been one of the most successful head coaches in the league’s history. He has brought the Steelers to a winning record for 17 straight seasons, which is the largest streak in NFL history. He does not have the best roster to work with in 2023 but has still brought his team to the postseason.
Mike Tomlin’s Struggles
While Tomlin has a history of success, Pittsburgh fans believe his best days are now behind him, and his scheme is too outdated. The Steelers have had their fair share of devastating injuries this season, including quarterback Kenny Pickett, and pass rusher T.J. Watt, who is not participating in the playoffs this year. It is hard to tell whether Tomlin is the issue with the team’s issues this season, but fans are calling for him to be gone by next season.

The Steelers are currently trailing the Bills in the first half, and do not look like they will start making a comeback anytime soon. Do you think Tomlin should remain as the head coach in Pittsburgh, or should the team move on for him and plan for the future?
