NFL Reinstates Former Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant
Bryant was a productive receiver for the Steelers from 2014-17. He caught 126 passes for 1,917 yards and 17 touchdowns. He was a huge weapon before he was suspended by the league. This past summer he played in the XFL for the Vegas Vipers though did not put up huge stats. While no team is expecting the 31-year-old wide receiver to become the star he once was but for teams looking for depth, Bryant could be a nice piece.
Which Teams Would Be Interested?
The Kansas City Chiefs are always a choice when it comes to wide receiver depth. Joining a contending team and catching passes from Patrick Mahomes is always attractive. The Dallas Cowboys wouldn’t mind putting another receiver next to CeeDee Lamb and Brandin Cooks. I could also see the Buffalo Bills swinging for the fences to try and find the true WR2 next to Stefon Diggs.
It will be interesting to see if any team signs former Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant. He has been out of the league for a while but his time in the league might be too good for someone to pass up.
