The Philadelphia Eagles have been looking to replace both the offensive and defensive coordinators for a second consecutive offseason. They already got the defensive coordinator as they agreed to a contract with Vic Fangio and now have reportedly signed Los Angeles Chargers offensive coordinator Kellen Moore for the same position.
Kellen Moore has been one of the hot coaching candidates and has a few years of experience under his belt. Moore began his coaching career as the quarterbacks coach for the Dallas Cowboys in 2018 before being elevated to offensive coordinator from 2019-2022. He would be fired after the 2022 season and take the same position for the Los Angeles Chargers.
However, once Jim Harbaugh was hired by the Chargers, that freed up Moore to look for another job and landed with the Philadelphia Eagles. But how will this wind up?
How will Kellen Moore look with the Philadelphia Eagles?
Kellen Moore has shown to do incredibly well as an offensive coordinator throughout his coaching career. People are going to point towards the Chargers offense last season but the injuries piled up and made his job a lot more difficult. Just seeing the talent that the Eagles have on the offensive side of the football with guys like Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith and a solid offensive line, this is something that should help the team dominate.
Moore is known for getting players open in the passing game and is an experienced play-caller. The Eagles look like they hit a home run with their new offensive coordinator but we will have to wait until Week 1 to see the actual results.
