The Tennessee Titans made some bold moves in the offseason in a bid to put more points on the scoreboard this year. They added another big leg before the regular season starts next week to add more scoring possibilities.
The Titans added one of the league’s major free-agent targets this summer in All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. The Titans beat out the New England Patriots in the Hopkins sweepstakes. But the two teams were able to come to amicable terms for a trade on Tuesday.

According to Tom Pelissero with the NFL Network, the Patriots are sending Nick Folk to the Titans in exchange for a seventh-round pick in 2025.

The 38-year-old veteran kicker has been with the Patriots since the 2019 season. Folk has scored 1,517 points in the NFL during his 15-year career. The 2007 Pro Bowl kicker made 86.5 percent of his field goals last season.
Folk should help improve the Titans’ special teams this season. The Patriots will rely on 2023 fourth-round pick Chad Ryland to perform the kicking duties in New England this year.
