NFL Fans have had quite the reaction regarding Jack Harlow’s halftime performance during the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions game on Thanksgiving Day. Harlow, an American rapper, singer, and actor, took center stage on Thursday, performing the halftime show during the first game of the NFL’s Thursday slate, performing music from his discography. However, the Grammy-nominated artist struggled to captivate the audience, especially those watching at home. NFL fans have taken to social media to share their thoughts.

Jack Harlow: Variety’s “Hitmaker of the Year” in 2021
Jack Harlow has become one of America’s top up-and-comers, breaking out in 2020 with his hit single “What’s Poppin.” The song rose to No. 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 after a remix with fellow rappers DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and Lil Wayne. Harlow has 33 singles, six mixtapes, and three studio albums. He has also tried his hand at acting, playing a leading role in the remake of White Men Can’t Jump. It scored average reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and The Observer. He will star in the upcoming film The Instigators with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. However, his rise has not stopped NFL fans from questioning his performance Thursday.
Detroit Lions Getting Smoked on Thanksgiving Day
The Detroit Lions hosted the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, but despite being more than a touchdown favorite, they found themselves entering the half trailing 23-6. The Detroit defense struggled to stop the Green Bay aerial attack, allowing two passing touchdowns from quarterback Jordan Love. Meanwhile, the Lion’s offense struggled, specifically quarterback Jared Goff, whose first-quarter fumble resulted in a Packers defensive touchdown. At least Jack Harlow’s performance Sunday has placed some of the anger from NFL fans elsewhere.
