Las Vegas Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams has been a trending topic when discussing trade rumors around the league. Recently, the team and Adams told reporters that he does not want to be traded. On Tuesday, NFL expert Dan Orlovsky suggested that Adams should request a trade out of Las Vegas to get back to playing at a hall-of-fame level. This report comes in from the NFL Twitter account JPAFootball.

Dan Orlovsky Comments
Orlovsky shared his thoughts on Adams not wanting to play for a playoff contender. He said, “He should ask to be traded, his hall-of-fame career is being wasted. Right now, this is a bad football team, there’s no known future of who is gonna be playing quarterback there.” He also said that he does not want to see Adams “waste away” in Las Vegas.
Although the team has shut down any further trade rumors, Orlovsky certainly has a great point. The star receiver has expressed his frustration with the team throughout the season and has even said that he doesn’t think that his teammates have the desire to win and be great.
Davante Adams Frustrations
So far this season, Adams has amounted to 528 receiving yards and three touchdowns, which are not great numbers for a player of his caliber at this point in the year. He has also expressed that he feels like he does not get the ball enough, especially in crucial moments in the game. However, statistics show why that might be the case. In games where Adams has six or fewer receptions, the Raiders are 3-0, as opposed to games where he has more than six receptions, in which the team is 0-4.
Although it was Adams’ dream to play for the Raiders, it seems like it is not a good fit for him, and fans and analysts are insisting that he should seek another opportunity elsewhere. As mentioned before, Adams and the Raiders have shut down any trade rumors, but his growing frustrations with the team can certainly change his mind as the season progresses.
