The Baltimore Ravens signed a running back who was on a Super Bowl-winning team last season. The Ravens should have a potent backfield with Lamar Jackson at quarterback and J.K. Dobbins at running back.

On Wednesday, the Ravens added another household name to the practice squad for extra depth. According to Adam Schefter with ESPN, the Ravens signed Melvin Gordon to the practice squad.

The 30-year-old running back has made the Pro Bowl twice in his eight-year NFL career. Gordon signed with the Kansas City Chiefs last November. He is credited with winning the Super Bowl in February, although Gordon never played for the Chiefs in a regular or postseason game last season.

Gordon ran for 318 yards on 90 attempts and scored two touchdowns for the Denver Broncos last season. Gordon is a nice depth piece for the Ravens to have on their roster before the regular season starts.
