Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson was a first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft out of LSU. He was a superstar in the NFL from day one in this league. Jefferson was one of the main reasons why the Tigers went undefeated and won a National Championship in 2019.
This offseason, Jefferson received a contract extension from the Vikings and he is not going anywhere anytime soon. He is only 25 years old and is about to enter the prime of his NFL career. Jefferson was ranked 18th on the NFL Top 100 players this past season. A lot of fans were unhappy and felt like he should have been ranked in the Top 10.
In the previous season, the Vikings superstar wide receiver was ranked as the second-best player in the NFL. There is no doubt that he has a great chance to continue this sustained success in his NFL career.
NFL Analyst Thinks That Minnesota Vikings Wide Receiver Justin Jefferson Is a Hall of Fame Talent
Anthony DiBona of Pro Football Network thinks that Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson is a hall-of-fame talent on this roster. He listed one player on every team who he feels could make a compelling case for the Pro Football Hall of Fame one day. DiBona said:
“Similar to Chase, Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson is off to an absurd start to his NFL career. Despite playing just four seasons, Jefferson already has nearly 6,000 receiving yards and 30 touchdowns. Even in his “down year,” Jefferson crossed the 1,000-yard mark, despite playing just 10 games.”
In each of his first four NFL seasons, Justin Jefferson has gone over 1,000 yards in every single season. He is on track to do that, just like Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans. Jefferson had a career-high 1,809 yards receiving during the 2022 season. It will be interesting to see how many receiving yards he could have next season if he were to stay healthy for the Vikings.
Justin Jefferson has a chance to be one of the best wide receivers of all time if he stays healthy for the next several years. Jefferson is viewed as one of the top wide receivers in the NFL by the players, the fans, and the media. If he winds up on the track that Mike Evans is currently on right now for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jefferson will wind up in Canton, Ohio several years down the road.
