Last season, the Texas football program posted a one-loss regular season record, earning a bid to the College Football Playoff for the first time in program history. Texas football, one of the biggest brands in college sports, had a rocky stretch from 2010 to 2017, failing to reach the double-digit win threshold each season. However, with Texas presumably back and the NIL era well underway, Austin, Texas, is again a hub for elite talent. It is so much so that 11 high-end transfers will play for the Longhorns next season, including former Alabama Crimson Tide star receiver Isaiah Bond.
Bond is already making the most of his opportunity with Texas after signing a massive NIL deal this offseason. According to Front Office Sports, Bond and teammate Michael Taaffe will represent Lamborghini Austin during the 2024 campaign. Earlier this offseason, quarterback Quinn Ewers signed an NIL deal with private jet company Nicholas Air.
Texas Football WR Isaiah Bond: Signs On With Lamborghini Austin
Isaiah Bond, formerly of the Alabama Crimson Tide, will undoubtedly play a significant role for the Texas football team next season. Considered a five-star transfer prospect per 247Sports, Bond left Alabama as one of the highest-rated offensive playmakers available before landing with the Longhorns. Local businesses believe Bond will leave his mark on Texas football, with one exotic brand inking him to a lucrative NIL deal. Bond and defensive back Michael Taaffe have signed on with Lamborghini Austin in their latest NIL venture.

Lamborghini Austin has long partnered with Texas football on NIL deals, striking deals with former team standouts Bijan Robinson, Jake Majors, and Jordan Wittington in years prior. The exotic car company released a video early Thursday morning, making the partnership with Bond and Taaffe public. Lamborghini also released a statement on the alliance, specifying that the alignment with the Texas duo comes from their “strong academic achievements, community leadership, and success on the field.” Per On3 Sports, Bond owns a $643,000 NIL valuation, the 46th highest in college football.
Bond: Playmaker Heads to Texas
Texas football will welcome Isaiah Bond in 2024 after the speedy wideout spent the past two seasons with the Alabama Crimson Tide. A four-star prospect in the 2022 class, Bond earned reps as a true freshman, catching 17 passes for 220 yards and one touchdown across 13 games. However, he took a massive step forward in 2023, becoming a favorite for quarterback Jalen Milroe. Bond posted a team-high 48 receptions last season, adding 668 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Bond’s most impactful game came against rival Auburn in the regular season finale, catching the game-winning 31-yard touchdown on fourth and goal with under a minute remaining. The win sealed Alabama’s third CFP appearance in four seasons.
Meanwhile, Bond’s NIL partner, defensive back Michael Taaffe, will enter his third season with Texas football next fall. He has collected 74 tackles, three TFLs, and three sacks across his previous 27 games.
