Miami Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill isn’t messing around this season. The star receiver has been very vocal about his high expectations for this season. On his podcast, Hill made a promise that he will have a record-breaking performance in 2023.
Miami Dolphins Tyreek Hill Guarantees Record-Breaking Stats
Hill wants to break the 2,000-yard receiving mark this year.
“I will break 2,000 yards next year, bro. 2,000 yards was on my bucket list to get before I leave this league … 2,000 yards and another Super Bowl — we getting that. Believe that.”
The record for most receiving yards in a season is 1,964, set by Detroit Lions legend Calvin Johnson back in 2012. Interestingly enough, Hill was on pace to break this record last season as he had 1,104 yards in his first nine games. Injuries to the quarterback position slowed him down but he still ended with 1,710 yards receiving.

Can He Actually Do It?
The good news is that Hill has an extra game in order to make this work. While some may doubt, Hill is insanely confident.
“I feel like I’ve got the right tools around me. I’ve got obviously the most accurate quarterback in the NFL, I’ve got one of the best head coaches in the NFL and also my position coach is a monster also. So just having those three things and me just keeping the same mindset each and every day that I want to get better and I want to break the record and I do want to break the record.”
He clearly believes in his quarterback and the coaching staff. This Miami Dolphins team is going to be fun to watch. Not just because of Tyreek Hill but Jaylen Waddle as well. Jalen Ramsey also gets to show Dolphins fans what he can do on the defensive side. Will we see a record-breaking performance in 2023? Hill sure thinks so.
