Jackson went undrafted in 2021, and Los Angeles signed him as an undrafted free agent. Jackson made the 53-man roster in his rookie season and appeared in four games with zero penalties, one sack allowed, and a 70.2 PFF Grade.
Jackson entered the 2022 season as a backup offensive lineman. An injury to Bobby Evans and Joseph Noteboom allowed Jackson to start in Weeks 3-6 and 7-8. His season was cut short because he was diagnosed with blood clots, and he finished with two penalties, two sacks allowed, and a 64.1 PFF Grade.
Jackson beat out Noteboom for the starting left tackle job in 2023. Jackson started in 15 games and missed one with a hamstring and one with a thigh injury. He had three penalties, one sack allowed, and a 66.2 PFF Grade in the regular season. He also had zero penalties, zero sacks allowed, and a 65.8 PFF Grade in the postseason.
If Jackson stays in Los Angeles, their offensive line will likely have four starters back in 2024.
If Jackson stays with Los Angeles, their offensive line will have at least four of their five starters heading into next season, as Coleman Shelton exercised his player option and is an unrestricted free agent, while Kevin Dotson, Steve Avila, and Rob Havenstein are under contract.
