The Las Vegas Raiders are looking to trade away their long-time receiver. Hunter Renfrow looks like he may be off to another team before the trade deadline. Head coach Josh McDaniels is most likely to rebuild the offense in an effort to secure his job which, as we know, is in jeopardy if Las Vegas does not start winning games.

NFL Trade Deadline
The NFL trade deadline is just a couple more weeks away, and the phones have been ringing nonstop recently. Some teams looking to be involved in trades before the deadline include the Denver Broncos, Carolina Panthers, Arizona Cardinals, Las Vegas Raiders, Minnesota Vikings, and the Tennessee Titans.
Hunter Renfrow of the Raiders has been a nonfactor this season and has no role in the Las Vegas offense. Through the first five games, he has only five catches on nine targets. Since he has not been used by the team, Renfrow is rumored to be dealt before the trade deadline. The proposed trade would involve the Washington Commanders’ star pass rusher Chase Young being swapped with the receiver.
What it Means for the Las Vegas Raiders
This would be huge for the Raiders as Young was the Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2020. Although he has been struggling to play at his full potential recently, perhaps a change of scenery would be helpful in that matter. He has been starting to look like himself again this year which can provide a great trade value for Washington.
As for the Raiders, they have needed to get help rushing the passer ever since Chandler Jones was released due to personal conflicts. Maxx Crosby would certainly appreciate it as it could take off the double teams focused on him and thus have more success than he is already having. As for Renfrow, his presence in Washington would only work out if they look to give him the ball. He has proved that he can be a valuable asset in previous years and may do so if he is traded.
