Cardinals fans were waiting for the inevitable news about quarterback Kyler Murray. Kyler Murray’s season is done because he tore his ACL against the New England Patriots.  ESPN reporter Adam Schefter confirmed the news.

Kyler Murray was carted off the field after suffering a non-contact injury early in the game. Murray didn’t return, and Colt McCoy took over. The Cardinals lost 27-13. After the game head coach Kliff Kingsbury said Murray’s injury didn’t look good. Tests confirmed Murray tore his ACL.

Arizona has had a disappointing season. Arizona has dealt with multiple injuries, tough losses, and a lack of cohesion. The Cardinals are 4-9. Losing Kyler Murray is heartbreaking for a struggling team.

Kyler Murray finishes his 2022 campaign with 2,368 passing yards, 14 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions. Colt McCoy will start the rest of the season.
