The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will compete in Super Bowl LVIII tomorrow. For Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and the rest of the Chiefs, it is a chance for their third Super Bowl victory in five seasons, a feat that would all but officially establish them as a legitimate NFL dynasty. For the 49ers, it is a chance to end a 28-year championship draught.
While watching the two best teams in the NFL is always the main draw of the Super Bowl, there are always other things that attract viewers. This year, of course, Taylor Swift being there to support Kelce will bring in more viewers, just as her presence at games as helped increase viewership all season long.
One of the most beloved parts of watching the Super Bowl is the commercials. For decades, corporations have spent millions of dollars on making memorable ads to take advantage of the tens of millions of Super Bowl viewers. While the quality of these ads has decreased in recent years, watching for the next great memorable commercial is still enjoyed by many.
This year, one company decided to blend the “Taylor Swift Effect” on the NFL with the tradition of memorable Super Bowl commercials. This ad has been leaked and is going viral on social media, and is drawing some heartwarming reactions from fans.
Taylor Swift’s Presence at Kansas City Chiefs Games Has Had an Effect on Families
Cetaphil, a skin care company, created a commercial to illustrate how Taylor Swift’s presence at Chiefs games has brought a new wave of fans to the NFL and has given fathers and daughters something they can bond over:

As seen in the commercial, the father and daughter appear to have little in common at the beginning. He enjoys watching football while she spends time in her room listening to music. As the ad continues, she starts peeking at the game her dad is watching, which leads him to gift her with her own jersey.
At the end of the commercial, she comes down to watch the game decked out in her new NFL attire. He, meanwhile, shows that he has taken an interest in what she likes as the famous Taylor Swift friendship bracelets are stacked on both of his wrists.
NFL Fans React to the “Taylor Swift Effect”
The reactions to the video seemed to generate the type of response Cetaphil was hoping for:
