Claims About Kansas City Chiefs

NFL insider Nate Taylor on a podcast said, “The Chiefs chose this, they didn’t want you to boo Tyreek Hill. That is what they’ve chosen.” Hill played six seasons for the Chiefs before a contract dispute with the team led him to request a trade, and he ultimately ended up with the Dolphins in 2022. According to Taylor, Kansas City had a choice between the Dolphins or the Detroit Lions on opening night and ended up choosing Detroit, who beat them 21-20 by the way.
He then made another remark saying, ” The league, the NFL, chose the Lions on opening night, but they could have chosen the Dolphins if the home team preferred said matchup.” While Taylor was giving this statement, he was using air quotes when he said “NFL”, emphasizing that this was not a decision made by the league.
Must See TV
A matchup in Kansas City would be electrifying for Miami for a lot of reasons. Obviously, Hill would get to play his former team in his former home stadium, which would provide a fun rivalry between the two teams. Also, both teams are tied for the top spot in the AFC conference, and playing at Arrowhead seems like the perfect atmosphere for this kind of important matchup.
Both teams are sitting at 6-2 and at the top of their respective divisions. This game across the pond is set to be a thriller as two high-powered offenses clash for the top spot in the AFC. As for these claims about Hill, it is not for sure a fact, but it is certainly a supported rumor.
