Following Myles Garrett’s car accident, there was a video released by cleveland.com of different Cleveland Browns players reacting to the accident. So, as you can expect, players like John Johnson were questioned about it.
John Johnson Doesn’t Even Want Garrett to Play in Week Four
In the video from cleveland.com, John Johnson had an interesting take on the situation. Most people would want their teammates to play, but he thinks that Garrett should just take it easy.
“I wouldn’t be surprised (if he plays). I know he probably wants to. But if you asked me, I think he just personally should just sit it out. But I have no idea. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he did, but that’s a tricky situation. I think he should just take it easy man.”
For Johnson and the Browns, this is all coming right after the news of Anthony Walker being out for the season due to a torn quad tendon, and per cleveland.com, Johnson knows that the Browns need to stay focused.
“Since I’ve been in Cleveland it’s been about responding, literally, so we’ve done a decent job. You can always do better, but that’s one thing that I can say we’ve had practice at is just blocking out the noise, really locking in and weeks like this, we usually go out there and have a good performance, so hopefully we can continue that trend and it’s going to take everybody.”
Grant Delpit Reacts to the News
Something else that cleveland.com found out is that Delpit heard of the news after waking up from a nap, and he had this to say about the incident.
“It was crazy. Rain and cars, they don’t get along too well. You can never be too careful driving. It’s all God. God placed his hands on him and made sure he’s alright.”
He also said that the incident was shocking for the whole team.

Garrett Should Just Focus on Getting Better
As Johnson said, Garrett should just take it easy. After an event like that, he needs to make sure he is 100 percent before he gets back on the football field.
