.It’s been 134 days since the Cincinnati Bengals suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the final minutes of Super Bowl LVI. It will remain a historic run for an organization that hadn’t played in a Super Bowl since 1989. The loss however, still stings in the hearts of Cincinnati fans, returning players, and coaches. However, for quarterback Joe Burrow its a motivator. Joe Burrow had this to say regarding the upcoming season:
Joey Burrow’s comments:
The Bengals will open their Training Camp on the turf adjacent to Paul Brown Stadium. Rookies report on July 26th and veterans arrive three days later. This year’s Training Camp will mark the 11th time in franchise history that the Bengals have hosted their summer practices at Paul Brown Stadium. Some sessions will be open to the public with dates yet to be announced.
What can we expect to see this year from Joey Burrow?
This year’s camp will be vital for a team that saw their quarterback sacked 51 times last season. In the off-season the Bengals attacked free agency. They revamped their offensive line by signing La’el Collins, Alex Cappa, Ted Karras and tight end Hayden Hurst. These additions along with key defensive NFL Draft picks Daxton Hill and Cam Taylor-Britt should shore up weaknesses that played a key role in the heartbreaking loss all those days ago. One thing is for certain, the Cincinnati Bengals will need to work extra hard. They are ranked third toughest on the NFL’s strength of schedule list.

In conclusion:
The Bengals 2022-23 campaign will include five primetime games. Three of them on the road against AFC North division rivals Baltimore, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh. Cincinnati will also have to play eight games against last year’s playoff teams. Six of those games coming in the final eight weeks of the season including a Monday Night Football spectacular against the Buffalo Bills.
Despite the tough schedule and the low probability of a repeat Super Bowl appearance, quarterback Joe Burrow he has been known to shine in championship caliber games, don’t count number nine out.
