Jerry Jeudy and the rest of the Denver Broncos offense are ready to put last year behind them. After everything went wrong last year, the team hired Sean Payton and improved the roster. Now they are looking to make some noise in the AFC. Jeudy is very confident in the wide receivers they have saying that it is “going to be a hard group of guys to stop.”
Denver Broncos Jerry Jeudy Loves The Receiver Room
The group of Jeudy, Courtland Sutton, Tim Patrick, and KJ Hamler have only played in two games together in the past three years. Injuries have decimated this group and they are all finally healthy going into 2023. Jeudy is excited for it.
“We haven’t been all on the same field in [how long], since my rookie year? So you know, it’s been a tough few years. But having everybody on the field at the same time, it’s going to be big, because I know what we’re capable of, and they know what we’re capable of. So having everybody on the same field is going to be a hard group of guys to stop.”
Pair this with Russell Wilson who despite the awful year last year still is one of the better quarterbacks in the league.
Can Denver Compete In The AFC?
It seems like a very tall task for the Broncos. They have to play the Chiefs and the Chargers twice and then the rest of the AFC is a brutal gauntlet. Ultimately, the team simply needs to show improvement from last year. 2022 was a dumpster fire with very little going right. The team needs to show proof of concept. If the Denver offense can show they can thrive with the current group, that will go a long way in helping fans feel more comfortable with Wilson and this group of receivers.
Jerry Jeudy is high on the Denver Broncos receiving room. Will Denver make some noise this season or will it be a repeat of 2022?
