J.C. Jackson had a dramatic 2023 season
Jackson had a tumultuous 2023 season with the Los Angeles Chargers and Patriots. Jackson was a healthy scratch for the Chargers during the team’s September game against the Minnesota Vikings. The Patriots traded for Jackson not long after Jackson called out then-Chargers head coach Brandon Staley during an interview.
Then-Chargers GM Tom Telesco called it a mistake to sign Jackson during a meeting with players during the fall.
Jackson would wind up being a healthy scratch for the Patriots during the season. Jackson finished the season on the reserve/non-football illness list.
