Jason Kelce, along with his brother Travis, have become the next major targets for the biggest media networks and streaming services.
Since launching in September 2022, the Kelce brothers’ “New Heights” podcast has exploded in popularity.
Jason and Travis Kelce are reportedly in the process of shopping their podcast to various media brands, and could be in line for a big payday.
Eric Silver, the head of development at the podcast collective Multitude, told MarketWatch that the Kelce
brothers could command a contract worth upwards of $100 million, which is what actors Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes received from SiriusXM for their “SmartLess” podcast.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if it was around the same as ‘SmartLess.’ I wouldn’t be surprised if it was $100 million,” Silver said about Travis Kelce and his brother’s potential price as the continue negotiations.
“New Heights” currently ranks as the No. 1 American sports podcast on Spotify and the No. 2 American sports podcast on Apple. The brothers are also in the top 25 for all American podcasts on Spotify.
Theoretically, Jason could have more time to devote to podcasting after announcing his retirement from the NFL after 13 seasons on Monday.
“There is no chance I’d be here without the bond Travis and I share,” Jason Kelce said during his emotional 45-minute press conference. “It made me stronger, tougher, smarter, and taught me the values of cooperation, loyalty, patience, and understanding. It’s only too poetic I found my career being fulfilled in the City of Brotherly Love.”
New Report Explains Key Reason Why TV Networks Will Target Jason Kelce Over Bill Belichick
Former Philadelphia Eagles Pro Bowl center Jason Kelce and ex-New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick are now two of the biggest free agents available for TV networks who may wish to bring them in for NFL analyst positions.
Kelce announced his retirement from football earlier this week following a 13-year career. He leaves the game as a seven-time Pro Bowler and six-time First-team All-Pro selection who led the Eagles to the franchise’s first Super Bowl championship in the 2017 season.
As for Bill Belichick, he and the Patriots announced that they were parting ways back in January following a 24-year run together. Surprisingly, Belichick was passed over in the latest NFL head coach hiring cycle.
Though both are expected to be highly sought-after by TV networks, a new report from sports media expert Andrew Marchand indicates that Kelce will probably draw more interest for an analyst gig than Belichick.

I think it’s more likely Jason Kelce ends up on a (pregame show) desk than Bill Belichick. First off, he’s kind of all-in with the podcast that he has with his brother. And I just think long-term, he looks likes somebody who could do it.
The issue for Belichick is that there is a feeling and it seems pretty understood that he wants to coach again. So to make such an investment when you might be only for one year, I think places will be a little bit hesitant for that. And Belichick’s a little bit different. What does he want? That’s a question as well that has to be answered because he doesn’t have to do this.”
Though Belichick wasn’t brought in by another team this year, it’s safe to assume that he won’t be passed over in next year’s hiring cycle.
The soon-to-be 72-year-old Bill Belichick hasn’t at all indicated that he wants to stop coaching, and several teams should have interest in a man whom many regard as the greatest head coach in NFL history.
It’s fair to note the two have vastly different personalities and could be utilized in the media in very different ways. Jason Kelce tends to have more of a new-age Pat McAfee feel, while Belichick would likely take on a role similar to the one Nick Saban just landed with ESPN.
