There are some players that simply cannot stay out of the news but some former NFL stars simply beg for attention. There have been players that end up returning to the game as coaches, players who have returned to the game as analysts and then some who avoid the spotlight altogether. Every now and again, a player returns to the public spotlight in a court room.
Former NFL Star Pleads down on Ridiculous Charge
On Thursday afternoon, former Titans superstar cornerback Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones reached a plea deal regarding a disorderly conduct charge leveled against him during an experience at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport.
Jones played a long and controversial career mostly with the Cincinnati Bengals was charged with misdemeanor accounts of public intoxication of alcohol, disorderly conduct and terroristic threatening. Police were called to the airport at 6 a.m. after being called by flight attendants complaining about an unruly passenger on an outgoing flight.
After all of the stories that came out regarding the incident, Jones has released his own side of the story on twitter.

At the very least, Jones was highly respectful after the scene he caused in his explanation.
As part of the plea deal, Jones’ accepted a sentence of 30 days in jail. The sentence will be suspended unless Jones’ has more unruly behavior at any airports in the next two years.
Aside from the incident, Jones has been an excellent citizen in the Cincinnati area as locals enjoy the company of their former star.
