The Tennessee Titans have been one of the busiest teams in the NFL this 2024 offseason. The Titans outbid the New England Patriots and the Jacksonville Jaguars for Calvin Ridley. Then the Titans replaced All-Pro running back Derrick Henry with Tony Pollard and managed to orchestrate a deal to bring another L’Jarius Sneed who’s an All-Pro caliber cornerback. They also added Chidobe Awuzie to fix everything they needed in the lagging secondary. Then in the 2024 NFL draft, the Titans selected a pair of top 40 draft picks in offensive tackle JC Latham and defensive tackle, T’Vondre Sweat. Tennessee Titans…

The New England Patriots picked Drake Maye with the third overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft. The Patriots believe in the North Carolina prospect to become a potential cornerstone of the new era of football in New England, with new head coach Jerod Mayo unlike former head coach Bill Belichick and former quarterback Mac Jones. This may define coach Mayo’s legacy as head coach in New England similar to Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, so all eyes are on the Patriots this season as they get a second chance to right the wrongs of choosing Mac Jones as the…

The Las Vegas Raiders have gone through plenty of change this offseason. They’ve parted ways with former head coach Josh McDaniels midway through last season along with getting rid of general manager Dave Ziegler. Since then, the Raiders have retained interim head coach Antonio Pierce for the permanent head coaching role, and have hired Chargers GM and football executive Tom Telesco to replace Ziegler. Other notable Raiders additions and subtractions are Josh Jacobs leaving for Green Bay in free agency, the signing of Christian Wilkins from the Dolphins, and of course the drafting of players like Brock Bowers, and Jackson…

Texas A&M had its annual spring exhibition, the Maroon and White game. The result of the spring game was 24-10 in favor of the Maroon team, where we saw Mike Elko’s debut at Kyle Field as head coach of the Texas A&M Aggies. The spring game can be tough to judge with players still in the midst of rehab for injuries, for example, 10-plus players were unavailable for the game. The Aggies walk away from spring practices with quite a lot to look forward to in their first season under head coach Mike Elko. The roster has changed a lot,…

The Florida State Seminoles lost their longtime starting quarterback Jordan Travis, due to his eligibility being up, and it’s time for a new face to take snaps for Florida State. The Seminoles were able to bring in fifth-year senior DJ Uiagalelei from the transfer portal after he decided to leave Oregon State. A great option as the team’s starter, with plenty of college football experience. Just last season Uiagalelei threw for 2,638 yards last season, with 21 touchdowns and seven interceptions. DJ Uiagalelei also has the ability to get out of the pocket and use his legs, as he posted…

Joe Milton served as a placeholder last season for the Tennessee Volunteers but performed admirably under center for the Vols. The future is now, as highly-touted phenom Nico Iamaleava is set to take hold of the starting quarterback position. Iamaleava got a small taste in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl versus Iowa, completing 12-of-19 passes for 151 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for three more scores in the Vols 35-0 Victory over the Hawkeyes. It’s worth noting that Iowa only allowed over 20 points on three occasions last season, so this was very eye-opening. Iamaleava has Knoxville buzzing with…

The Auburn Tigers enter spring practice for the second year under head coach Hugh Freeze, and the quarterback position for the Tigers was pretty dreadful last year. The good news is at least Payton Thorne now has a full season under his belt, and red zone target Rivaldo Fairweather returns along with running back Jarquez Hunter. However, leading wide receiver Ja’Varrius Johnson is gone, and leading returning receivers Jay Fair and Caleb Burton only combined for just 550 yards receiving in 2023. Auburn Tigers Productiveness Will Likely Hinge Upon The Success Of Its Wide Receivers Enter true freshman Cam Coleman,…
