The Case
The boyfriend, Thompson, is in a relationship with Thomas’ ex-wife Nina Thomas. Thompson was arrested by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office back in June and is accused of several amounts of offenses. These offenses include identity theft, forgery, money laundering, credit card fraud, computer fraud, and bank fraud.
According to the report, Thompson cashed Thomas; final NFL checks which drew funds from his bank account, and proceeded to manipulate car ownership for multiple vehicles. Despite all of these charges, Thompson was released on a $730,000 bond.
Thomas and Nina divorced back in 2020 after she accused the former safety of cheating and pulled a gun on him after finding out. According to the report, Thomas earned $79.4 million.
NFL Star Earl Thomas
Thomas finished his 10-year career with 30 interceptions, two touchdowns, 12 forced fumbles, and 713n total tackles. He was a Super Bowl 47 Champion when Seattle dominated Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos by a score of 43-8. He was a part of the famous “Legion Of Boom” defense that featured himself, Richard Sherman, Kam Chancellor, and Bobby Wagner.
The fact that Thompson was able to get away with a bond is pretty crazy when you consider all of the charges that he is facing. Some speculate that Thomas’ ex-wife was a facilitator in the act, but we do not know that for sure just yet.
