Hey squad, it’s your favorite fantasy football guru, KP! This week we’re diving into the Waiver Wire Week 10 Edition. As always, leagues are won with post-draft acquisitions. While, you can win on drafting talent alone, the waiver wire is primarily where losses can become wins.
A huge note for this week, before we jump into the Waiver Wire Week 10 Edition. We’re fast approaching fantasy playoffs – you should definitely start your stars. Stop overthinking and do not get cute stick by your team and ride it! Let’s get started and check out KP’s Waiver Wire Week 10 Edition Fantasy Football Family!
Key Injuries to consider:
- Romeo Doubs (ankle) 4-6 weeks, typically.
- Aaron Jones (foot) day-to-day; likely to play
- Christian Watson (head) suffered concussion, in danger of missing
- Evan Engram (back) too busy carrying the Jags; should be fine!
- Rashod Bateman (foot) out for the season; can be cut in redraft
- JK Dobbins (knee) placed on IR, can return, but should be cut in redraft
- Josh Allen (elbow) potential UCL injury, must keep a close eye on this situation
- David Njoku (ankle) looking to play this week
- Mike Williams (ankle) still out
- Kyren Williams (ankle) close to being activated from IR
- Eli Mitchell (knee) finally being activated
Bye Week
- Baltimore Ravens
- Cincinnati Bengals
- New England Patriots
- New York Jets
Waiver Wire Week 10 targets by positions
Quarterbacks
- Daniel Jones vs HST – rostered 40% Yahoo / 44.6% ESPN
- Jacoby Brissett @MIA – rostered 7% Yahoo / 7.2% ESPN
- Marcus Mariota @CAR – rostered 33% Yahoo / 35.5% ESPN
I do have Daniel Jones as the top priority add, but he’s a great option for this and following weeks. Brissett will be one player that is still around that you can grab. He’s going up against a Miami team that allowed Justin Fields to run all over them, while Brissett cannot be mistaken for Fields – he should have a similar day against this defense. This should be a high scoring affair.
Running backs
- Kenyan Drake BYE WEEK – rostered: 65% Yahoo / 45.3% ESPN
- Rachaad White vs SEA – rostered: 34% Yahoo / 20.3% ESPN
- Jeff Wilson Jr vs CLE – rostered: 52% Yahoo / 44.6% ESPN
Again, not many exciting options at running back right now. We do have JWJ and Drake who looked pretty great this week, but it seems that managers are likely piranhas trying to find a running back. In any case, a great player to have – even waiting in the wings – is Rachaad White. He’s slowly eating in Fournette’s touches and with uncle Lenny being ineffective, he could have a larger role. White lands on a very deep-add for the Waiver Wire Week 10 list.
Wide Receivers
- DeAndre Carter @SF – rostered: 31% Yahoo / 10% ESPN
- Donovan Peoples-Jones @MIA – rostered: 22% Yahoo / 12.6% ESPN
- Mecole Hardman vs TEN – rostered: 48% Yahoo / 36.1% ESPN
- Chris Moore @NYG – rostered: 0% Yahoo / 0.2% ESPN
DPJ has been quietly a very strong bye-filler / flex option. He’s put up 11 points or more over the last 3 weeks in PPR-format. Even with Amari Cooper having a tremendous season; he’s a must add. Additionally, with Watson’s suspension being lifted soon his value can go even further.
Tight Ends
- Cade Otton vs SEA – rostered: 11% Yahoo / 5.1% ESPN
- Greg Dulcich @TEN –rostered: 36% Yahoo / 28.9% ESPN
Cade Otton was drafted to fill in for the retiring Gronk – who said even Brady couldn’t get him to come back – and he’s definitely lived up to the expectation. Admittedly, Otton’s production still isn’t static enough to warrant a must-start status, he’s a high end TE2 in an underwhelming Tampa Bay passing attack.
