Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups Week 10
Quarterbacks
QB Daniel Jones, New York Giants Rostered: 11%
Believe it or not, Danny Dimes is the fantasy QB3 in Week 9 heading into Monday Night Football, with a season-high 24.36 points against the Commanders. He’s finished as QB11 or better in four of nine weeks, showing a high ceiling but an unreliable floor. Desperate for a streamer? Jones vs. Carolina could pay off—QBs have scored 23+ points on the Panthers in three of the last five games. After the Giants’ Week 11 bye, Dimes faces weak defenses (Buccaneers, Cowboys, Saints). It’s a risky play, but if you’re open to the ups and downs, rolling the dice on Jones might be worth the pickup on the waiver wire.
QB Aaron Rodgers, New York Jets Rostered: 43%
Since the Jets acquired Davante Adams, Rodgers’ efficiency has notably improved. His adjusted yards per attempt have risen to 7.7, and his completion rate has climbed to 64 percent over the past three weeks, up from 6.2 AY/A and 62 percent before Adams’ arrival. His fantasy points are also up by 1.7 per game. While Rodgers may no longer be a QB1, many of the best quarterback options are either already rostered or facing tough matchups this week.
Mentionables: QB Drake Maye, New England Patriots Rostered: 11%
Wide Receivers
WR Jauan Jennings, San Francisco 49ers Rostered: 44%
WR Jerry Jeudy, Cleveland Browns Rostered: 48%
Despite Cedric Tillman’s rise—scoring once again in Week 9—Jeudy has been one of the biggest beneficiaries since Amari Cooper’s departure. Jeudy led the Browns in receptions with seven, and prior to Tillman’s late touchdown, he also led in receiving yards. Over the past two weeks, Jeudy has seen 19 targets and posted double-digit PPR points each game. He’s a solid pickup option, especially for deeper rosters, though note the Browns will be on bye in Week 10.
Mentionables: WR Quentin Johnston, Los Angels Chargers Rostered: 16%
Running Backs
RB Ray Davis, Buffalo Bills Rostered: 14%
Davis is a prime player to prioritize in the back half of the fantasy season. He holds solid standalone value in deeper formats, but if starter James Cook misses time, Davis could be a league winner. Tied to one of the NFL’s most explosive offenses, Davis posted 18.2 fantasy points on 23 touches in Week 6 when Cook was inactive. He’s since logged six touches in each of the past three games, scoring 11 or more fantasy points in two of them. He’s a valuable stash on your bench if you can find him on the waiver wire.

RB Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons Rostered: 49%
While the Falcons are increasingly leaning on Bijan Robinson—who has seen 20-plus touches in three straight games—Allgeier is still a smart bench stash. Should Robinson miss time, Allgeier would be ready to step in, and he has a favorable playoff schedule (Weeks 15-17) against the Raiders, Giants, and Commanders, all of whom rank top 12 in rushing yards allowed to RBs. In games where he’s had 16 or more touches, Allgeier averages 15.1 fantasy points, offering both standalone and backup value. If he’s still on the waiver wire you could stash him away for safe keeping.
Mentionables: RB Isaac Guerendo, San Francisco 49ers Rostered: 18%
Tight Ends
TE Mike Gesicki, Cincinnati Bengals Rostered: 13%
Welcome back to the waiver wire article, Mike Gesicki! After a quiet stretch scoring just 6.4 points from Weeks 4-7, Gesicki roared back in Week 8 with 73 yards and dominated Week 9 as the fantasy TE1 with 27 points. He tallied five catches for 100 yards and two TDs on six targets against the Raiders. The Bengals have a short week with Thursday night football, but Gesicki’s matchup against the Ravens looks favorable, especially given Baltimore’s struggles against tight ends. Gesicki has benefited from Tee Higgins’ absence, and probably will this week, and with rookie TE Erick All Jr. (ACL) out for the season, Gesicki’s targets and snap count could increase.

TE Jonnu Smith, Miami Dolphins Rostered: 9%
Smith has continued to be his reliable self with Tua Tagovailoa back at the helm. Over the past two games, he’s maintained an 18.1% target share with averages of 4.5 receptions and 33 yards. In Week 10, he has a promising matchup against the Rams, who are allowing the second-most fantasy points per game and the fourth-most yards to tight ends, making Smith a possible TE1 for the week.

Defenses
DEF Detroit Lions Rostered: 46%
The Lions visit the Texans in Week 10, a matchup that would have been tough earlier this season. However, injuries have clearly weakened Houston, as seen on Thursday night when C.J. Stroud and the offense managed only 13 points against the Jets. With the Texans’ offensive line struggling and Stroud without his top receivers, Detroit’s D/ST is worth picking up if available. Averaging 12.2 FPPG since their Week 5 bye, the Lions have staying power with the Jaguars and Colts up next.
DEF New York Giants Rostered: 6%
If you’re looking at the waiver wire for a defense to stream this week, consider the Giants. New York’s D/ST may have scored zero fantasy points against the Commanders in Week 9, but the unit has twice hit 13-plus points this season and faces a much more favorable matchup against the Panthers in Germany. Carolina head coach Dave Canales has yet to announce a starting QB, so the Giants’ D/ST is a viable option whether Bryce Young or Andy Dalton takes the field. Games played overseas often end up lower-scoring, and defenses facing Carolina have shown a floor of five points with potential double-digit ceilings in recent weeks.
