Madden 23 was released last week, which included a spree of rating releases, and as usual, quite a bit of controversy. Oklahoma State has seen a significant uptick in its NFL representation and sent several high-profile rookies in the 2022 NFL Draft. Let’s take a deep dive into every Pro-Cowboy Madden 23 rating! Starting with the top three HIGHEST rated players across the board:
1: EMMANUEL OGBAH – 83 OVERALL
Ogbah enters the season with high expectations. Ogbah received a massive contract extension from the Dolphins this offseason after a spectacular year. The contract is a four-year, $65 million deal that includes $32 million guaranteed. Ogbah had a career season, which included 11 sacks, 41 tackles, and 24 QB-Hits. Miami is hopeful for another consistent year for Ogbah.
2: TRE FLOWERS – 76 OVERALL
Tre Flowers has been a consistent Defensive Back for the Bengals. Similar to Ogbah, he also received a contract extension this offseason. However, the deal isn’t quite in the range of Ogbah’s, as Flowers moves towards the latter part of his career. He received a one-year $1.85 million deal, which includes a $500 Thousand Signing Bonus.
3: JAMES WASHINGTON – 74 OVERALL
James Washington, after requesting a trade, was moved to the Dallas Cowboys to add to its weaker WR room. Throughout his time in Washington, he was under-targeted & missed used as a result of a short pass system that doesn’t fit Washington’s playstyle. Through 13 games in 2021, Washington was only targeted 44 times. His 2nd lowest total since entering the league in 2018. His best season came in 2019 when he totaled 735 yards, 3 Touchdowns, and 44 receptions.
