The Chicago Bears were widely considered one of the worst teams in football even with stellar receiver DJ Moore. In the past few weeks though, this team is starting to look dangerous as they have won three out of their last four and are if they defeat the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, will be within one game of a wild card berth. Obviously it wouldn’t be possible if the entire league weren’t simply middling this season but it cannot be denied that they have a solid opportunity.
DJ Moore Expected to Play Against Cleveland
While he has struggling in practice this week with a minor ankle injury, Moore has officially been listed as questionable and is expected to start against Cleveland this week. Moore was a full participant in practice on Friday afternoon after being limited for the Thursday session.
NFL Insider Adam Schefter originally broke the report on Twitter on Sunday morning.

Moore was injured early in the second half last week against Detroit but returned a few plays later. Even toughing out a hurt ankle, Moore was still able to pull in a touchdown pass as he finished with 68 receiving yards and a score on six receptions. His head coach Matt Eberflus had glowing remarks regarding his tough receiver after the game.
“Your best players have to be your hardest workers, but they’ve got to be your toughest too, and that’s what he is,” said coach Matt Eberflus. “He is a tough son of a gun. He’s got everything you want from a leader. He doesn’t have to say much and when he talks, everybody listens. It’s really good to have him.”
Moore has been a game changer for this offense this season and will look to be on the field for the key matchup with Cleveland. Although he just came in over the offseason, Moore has quickly become quarterback Justin Fields favorite target as he has collected 76 receptions for 1,071 yard this season with seven scores.
This up-and-coming Chicago team will face a tough test in the league’s best Cleveland defense but they will have a much better chance with their elite receiver on the field.
